My Role

I played a significant role in both the technical development and user experience design of the microsite. I leveraged Bootstrap, a popular UI framework, to build the microsite's structure, Chart.js an open source HTML5 Charts to visualize charts and ensure it functioned seamlessly across different devices. My knowledge of interaction design principles proved invaluable during my collaboration with visual designers. Together, we focused on creating a user-friendly and intuitive interface that prioritized user experience.

Target Audience

The microsite catered to a diverse audience, including:

  • Investors and shareholders seeking financial performance updates.
  • Employees interested in company progress and achievements.
  • Partners and stakeholders wanting to understand DIMO's overall strategy and direction.
  • The general public curious about DIMO's impact and contributions.

Challenges:

  • Condensing Information: The key challenge was summarizing the annual report into a concise and engaging format.
  • Balancing Design and Functionality: Striking the right balance between creating a visually appealing microsite and ensuring clear information hierarchy and user-friendly navigation was crucial.
  • Catering to Diverse Audience Needs: The microsite needed to cater to the needs and interests of a broad audience with varying levels of financial literacy.

Award Recognition

The DIMO Annual Report Microsite's success was acknowledged at the prestigious TAGS Awards 2023. The project received a Silver Award in the Digital Transformative Reporting Category, a testament to the effectiveness of our collaborative approach and the user-centric design principles employed.
